Shipping and delivery

We will get your deliver to you as soon as possible. They will normally be dispatched within 1 – 3 working days of our receiving your order.

During UK Bank Holidays and busier times such as Christmas, it may take longer to receive your parcel. We will always try to let you know if there is going to be any delay. All our parcels are sent via the courier UPS unless otherwise stated.

UK Orders: There is free standard shipping on all UK orders over £60.00 (UPS Standard), any orders under this value will have a £6.00 delivery charge added at the checkout.

For Collection Only orders, you will receive a call from our team to arrange an appropriate collection time. All Collection Only orders must be collected at The Vices, 15 Alma Terrace, York, YO10 4DQ.

Custom charges and VAT

If your order is being shipped outside the European Union (EU), customs charges and taxes may apply that you will need to pay directly. All estimated delivery times could be delayed by customs entry procedures.
It is the customers responsibility to be aware of their own customs laws, The Vices York are not responsible for anything that gets stopped or destroyed by customs.

Delivery time guide

UK: We despatch via UPS and UK delivery typically takes 2-3 working days but it can take up to 5 working days. The Vices York is not able to provide a refund or offer a new delivery until 14 working days from despatch.

Returns Policy

We at The Vices York think you will love your products, but there may be circumstances when you feel it necessary to return a purchase. We offer a 14-day return policy with our products. If you’re unhappy, please return your purchase back to us for a refund or exchange.

All you need to do contact us at york@thevices.co.uk. Please include your order number, product details and the reason why. Once we have confirmed this and, in the instance, where the product is damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied we will send you a free post returns label, in any other case the postage or return costs are the customer’s responsibility.

You will need to include the following details. Then please pack your products in its original packing and take it to your local post office.

We will send your replacement item or refund your payment within 5-10 working days upon receipt of your item.

Please note we will only exchange products of the exact the same value. Postage or other return costs will be the customer’s responsibility and will be only be covered by us in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. This will be done by way of a returns label.
