TASTING NOTES
The name Nasco comes from musk (nuscu in Sardinian dialect) and the wine is very aromatic with aromas of flower blossoms, muskmelon, and tropical fruit. The palate is exotic and rich due to a small percentage of barrel aging, yet it still retains freshness due to the Nasco’s high acidity.
Pairings
Nasco calls for an assertive dish like a highly fragrant seafood stew or pasta served with shaved bottarga. Sardines, anchovies, or grilled dark fish make for additional pairings. Iselis Bianco can also be paired with a matured sheep’s milk cheese like Pecorino Sardo.

THE MAKER: ARGIOLAS
Antonio Argiolas at the end of the thirties founded the winery. For decades, he made her grow, and she continued to be there even when she passed the baton to her children. Today his grandchildren, the third generation of the family, work here and Argiolas is the foremost wine estate on the island of Sardinia producing archetypal wines from native varietals.
