TASTING NOTES
Deeper darker concentrated style of Barolo with decadent fruit depth as and nicely integrated oak overtones. On entry, the mid-palate reveals a deeper, fleshier mouthfeel, as delicious red berry notes tinged with red florals and savory spice give way to a pleasant finish.
Pairings
Great with wintery recipes such as beef and game stews, risotto and anything with truffles.

THE MAKER: CARLO REVELLO
Carlo Revello was born in La Morra. It is here that Revello’s father Giacomo first vinified a small portion of the family’s harvest. It was exceptional, and thus the family established the eponymous Giovanni Revello e Figli Estate. In 2016 Carlo established Carlo Revello e Figli. This is a range that sees familial heritage and tradition meet fresh ideas and approachability. Revello's wines are an impressive introduction to the legendary wines of Barolo, crafted with little artifice and showcasing La Morra terroir with all the grace and elegance so prized in wines from this pocket of the DOCG.
