TASTING NOTES

Dusty ripe cherry, smoke and sweet red florals, grounded by a hint of animal muskiness. On the palate, textures of pure silk release tart cherries brought to life by vibrant acids, as saline-minerals saturate the senses and hints of fine tannin add balance. The finish is long, displaying mineral-laden bright red fruits, kept in motion by lingering acids, while hints of fine tannin persist in this classically structured Sangiovese.

THE MAKER: CHIARA CONDELLO

Chiara Condello - Le Lucciole was born from the awareness of being a keeper of a wine-growing history that was written and handed down for hundreds of years in the Predappio hills and by my desire to give a revolutionary interpretation to this unique, generous land. I work following a concept: I would love to produce a wine that expresses the high potential of my land, releasing it from all the things that are not essential. A Sangiovese that returns exactly my ideas of winemaking.
