THE MAKER: Marcalberto
The Marcalberto Farm is a small family-run business that exclusively produces "Classic Method" sparkling wines in the hills of the Langhe, in Santo Stefano Belbo. The first bottles date back to 1993, but it is since 1996 that the idea of father Piero, an established winemaker, has materialized in small series production. Having remained a "niche" product for some years, with the inclusion first of Marco and then of his younger brother Alberto, production, starting from 2008, has undergone a significant increase. Today, the two brothers conduct the business with enthusiasm and competence in the vineyards and in the cellar, dedicating a passion that has become work to "their" wine.
