TASTING NOTES
Black tea, allspice and woodland berries lead on the nose, while the palate is dominated by a minerally, stony grip. Tangy acidity, powdery tannins and subtle, harmonised wood are precisely balanced in this sophisticated wine which allies elegance with power.
Pairings
Perfect with white and red meat roasts, noble poultry, game, cheeses, pasta with meat sauce.

THE MAKER: Montevertine
Montevertine was bought in 1967 by Sergio Manetti, then a steel industrialist, as a holiday home. He restored the house making it habitable and immediately planted two hectares of vineyard and set up a small cellar with the idea of producing some wine for his friends and customers.
