THE MAKER: TEMPA DI ZOE
The name Tempa di Zoè does not only refer to a physical place but is above all a declaration of intent. The "tempe", gentle hills that run after the sea, characterise Cilento from north to south.
Tempa di Zoè was founded with a single goal of calling new attention to a land that is naturally excellent for wine. Cilento's soil was formed by the sea, under the sea. The flysch of Cilento is a strong, alkaline soil, perfect for cultivating the vines. It gives the grapes a unique personality.
