Intense ruby red with shades of purple. This wine offers an immediate olfactory dialogue, with no hesitation, lending fruity aromas of plum, blackberry and cassis. A spicy component of black pepper, nutmeg and cloves also dominates, while elegant notes of balsamic, bay leaf, mint, eucalyptus and cypress float on the nose. The palate provides intense fruit defined by plum and blackberry, with excellent body – delicate and elegant.

TASTING NOTES
Deep ruby red with purple hues. Fruity aromas of plum, blackberry and cassis. Spicy notes with black pepper, nutmeg, cloves are the main hints. Elegant are the balsamic notes, laurel, mint, eucalyptus. The flavour is intense and fruity, with plum and blackberry. The body is of excellent structure, but delicate and elegant. The tannin is sweet and silky. Long is its aromatic aroma, intense final of plum marked by slight hint of sapidity that characterises the terroir of Tenuta Argentiera.

Tenuta Argentiera stands in a magnificent patch of land in the Maremma that blends countryside and sea, suspended between woods and Mediterranean scrub. They are at the heart of the small but prestigious Doc Bolgheri, a terroir dedicated to great red wines and synonymous with the celebrated “Super Tuscan.”
