TASTING NOTES
Sultry dark garnet colour. Dark fruit purity with black plum, blackberry, cassis and tarry prune. There is a delightful note of black pepper that is specific to this warm and sunny vintage. The fruit shows soft and rich concentration, and a pulpy density that gives this vintage a bigger profile in terms of mouthfeel.

THE MAKER: Tenuta San Leonardo
Tenuta San Leonardo boasts a wine-producing history that goes back over 1,000 years. However, it wasn’t until Carlo Guerrieri Gonzaga took the reins of the estate in the 1970s that the wine as we know it today came along.
Only 25 hectares are planted to vines and are now all farmed organically.
