Wine Tasting – Exploring Tuscany
Sunday 19th March 2023
16:00-18:30
Join professional sommelier and co-founder of The Vices York, Daniel Curro for an intimate wine tasting to take a closer look at the wines of Tuscany. A region characterised by tradition and innovation; in the past decades producers have challenged long-held winemaking traditions with their desire to break with convention by using international grape varieties, while others have strongly held to those traditions with the use of native grape varieties. Today, Tuscany wines are among Italy’s most desirable and this is the perfect opportunity to taste examples from some of our most characteristic producers.
We will taste the following wines:
2015, Castello Romitorio, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
2016, Podere Le Ripi, Cielo D’Ulisse Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
2006, Valdicava, Madonna Del Piano Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG
