Following vinification, it undergoes long-term aging for at least 4 years in Slavonian oak casks.

TASTING NOTES

Plum sauce and crushed raspberries complemented by mentholated herbs, liquorice and balsamic spice. There are depths of fresh red and black fruits that gain a polished feel as they coast across velvety textures, while vibrant acidity adds verve, further contrasted by a bitter twang of baker’s chocolate. Terrific richness and tannin power, full-bodied and very structured with a powerful finish.

Pairings

Perfect with roast meats, game, grilled steak and mature cheeses, but also perfect as a meditation wine for enjoyment without a meal.
